Bobby Andonov, at just fifteen years of age has sung all over the world, impressing all those who hear him with his heartfelt style and soulful interpretation. Bobby has performed since the age of 6, when he started dancing and singing in his hometown, Melbourne, Australia.
At the age of 9 he starred as Danny in a Junior Production of "Grease the Musical" and after rave reviews from his family and friends, decided on his life path.
His Aunt , noticing his talent, encouraged Bobby to audition for Disney's "The Lion King" and Bobby was selected from 3000 applicants to be one of four Young Simba's in Melbourne, Sydney and Shanghai China.
After 18 months with the Lion King, Bobby was taken by his Aunt, to the renowned Australian Vocal Coach, Susie Ahern ( Idol, X Factor, Kylie Minogue, Guy Sebastian, Anthony Callea). Susie and Bobby commenced work on his vocal technique and songwriting skills. This led to Bobby signing a lucrative Management and Development deal with Mamasusu Management Melbourne in 2008.
Through working with Susie, Bobby has been heard by many Music Industry luminaries such as, John Reid, the former manager of Queen and Elton John, Anthony Callea and Guy Sebastian. All are united in their praise of Bobby's talents and agree that he has a very promising international career as a singer, song writer and performer.
Bobby has performed the Australian National Anthem for many events, including a Labor Party function in Ballarat where he was praised by then Premier of Victoria, Steve Bracks. In 2009 Bobby performed both the Australian and Macedonian National Anthems at a function to celebrate the Official Opening of the Macedonian Consulate in Melbourne. The Prime minister of Macedonia was in attendance.
On a family visit to Macedonia, Bobby was invited to perform at the celebrated children's festival Zlatno Slavejche. It was here that Bobby was noticed by Jovan Jovanov, the well known Macedonian Composer and Producer. This meeting led to a collaboration on a song called Prati Mi SMS.
Bobby was invited to perform Prati Mi SMS as part of the selection process for Junior Eurovision 2008 and was chosen unanimously by an Independent Jury and Public Televote to represent Macedonia at JESC in Limassol Cyprus. In the lead up to Junior Eurovision, Bobby traveled extensively throughout Europe performing at Festivals in Serbia, Croatia, Belgium, Bulgaria and Albania. He also gained a large fan base through his television interviews and performances. Bobby eventually attained fifth place at the Final of Junior Eurovision 2008 to an audience of over 55 million television viewers.
Since Eurovision, Bobby has been composing and recording songs for an upcoming EP, Jericho Blue. He has also released an exclusive youtube promo video of his own arrangement of the Tonic song "If You Could Only See". Youtube has been a great indicator of Bobby's popularity with his Eurovision footage achieving over a million hits on several different channels. Bobby now has his own youtube channel Bobbyteevee, where he regularly posts episodes, updates and parts of performances. His facebook fanpage has also broadened his fanbase to include fans from Portugal, USA, the Netherlands, Estonia and New Zealand. He now has around 16,000 fans on Facebook and a Twitter following of around 2000.
Bobby recently competed in Australia's Got Talent and seriously impressed the nation with his own arrangement of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah". Bobby made it to the Top Four in the Grand Final and has been inundated with offers to appear and sing all over the country.
Bobby is looking forward to releasing his music and performing Concert dates to promote his E.P.
