Cliff Shaffran

Born in Australia, Cliff began his learning journey with an Economics degree from Sydney University. With a lifetime of education from travelling and working in every part of the world, Cliff is truly a global citizen.
The current focus of this broad experience is the development and practical integration of human potential with information technology. His goal is to accelerate world learning by influencing the way senior executives of major corporations think, learn and communicate.

This vision led Cliff, in 1987, to establish Quicksilver International, an organization dedicated to raising Intellectual Capital through the practice of creative business communication. He developed a network of world thought-leaders (comprising international scholars and corporate executives) to further, in business, the concepts of Mental Literacy and Group Intelligence.

Throughout his career Cliff has been an entrepreneurial leader, applying his talents to successful businesses which range from yachting to computers and communication. He originated the Quicksilver concept of "thinking learning communicating," applying the most recent worldwide research on Brainpower to practical business applications. Cliff's driving passion is to develop human potential as the catalyst for team and organisational growth.

A well-known and respected speaker and facilitator, Cliff has recently co-authored the innovative business book , 'I Think Therefore I Succeed'. Over the years, he has written numerous articles as a business columnist.

With offices in Hong Kong, Sydney and Zurich, Quicksilver works with international corporations to facilitate and integrate their communication strategy, guide implementation, produce innovative graphic design solutions and develop leadership capabilities.

Always an Australian at heart, he has lived and worked here, in Australia, the United States and now for Hong Kong.
