Dr. Ken Hudson is a world-class authority in helping individuals and teams think better and faster. By doing so, they can achieve more and unlock breakthrough results.
He is a compelling speaker, trainer, consultant and facilitator. If you want someone who can have an immediate impact then the tools and techniques of Speed Thinking are ideal. These can be learned and applied with great effect by any leader, manager or business owner.
Dr. Hudson in a previous life worked in marketing for many large organisations (Citibank, Dunlop Slazenger and American Express - where he was a Marketing Director). After successful stints in advertising and management consulting, Ken went back to university to gain a PHD in Organisational Creativity (UWS) to sit along with his B. Bus (UTS) and MBA (UNE).
He formed his own business called Ideaspace in 2001 and worked with leaders of many of the world's leading brands e.g. DuPont, Unilever, Heinz, Citibank, 3M, PayPal, Ebay, and Dell. As a result of this experience he wrote his first, best-selling book called The Idea Generator 2007 which outlined 60 practical and effective tools he has developed.
Whilst running his creative thinking workshops and lecturing at the University of Technology, Sydney, he discovered that many participants (or post-graduate students) did their best work when they did it at an express pace. Rather than filtering ideas and solutions participants are able to unlock their amazing unconscious mind and magic seems to happen.
On the back of this powerful discovery, Dr. Hudson formed The Speed Thinking Zone and has dedicated his business to helping everyone achieve "twice as much - in half the time". His second book the Idea Accelerator - how to solve problems faster was published in 2008.
Dr. Ken Hudson's new book "Speed Thinking: How to thrive in a time-poor world" was published in May 2010. This is his third breakthrough book representing the very latest thinking on this breakthrough concept. The first few chapters outline why we need to think quicker, the insight behind Speed Thinking and the theory and structure of Speed Thinking. The last chapters offer a range of practical and effective tools you and your team can use to Brainstorm Ideas in minutes, Solve Problems quickly and make better, faster Decisions.
Every day, business owners, managers and leaders are expected to deliver more and more with less and less. They have fewer people, smaller budgets and 'crucially' less time. Lack of time to make decisions has become the most stressful part of life for many business people.
