Rex Pemberton

As a young achiever Rex has learnt the power of compelling goals and strong self-belief. Before the age of 20, Rex had climbed mountains on six continents, including a 20,000 foot mountain in the Peruvian Andes and the world famous Matterhorn and Mt Blanc in Europe.
Not only have these exploits captured the attention of the media, in June 2005 Rex became the youngest Australian to climb Mt Everest, an incredible feat!

Rex features as a lead climber and facilitator in the Peak Teams mountain-based programs. He now combines his experience in the mountains with his ongoing education in business management to deliver inspiring presentations on achieving goals, teamwork and leadership.

All of his life Rex has lived his dreams and goals in the mountain ranges over the 4 corners of the earth. Within these epic mountain climbing adventures he has learnt much about commitment to goals, overcoming obstacles, learning from mistakes, utilizing the strengths of individuals within a team, developing trust, balancing risk with reward and the importance of clear and concise communication and decision making in a changing environment of high risk.

The mountain climbing metaphor has been in business throughout the ages, now as a young energetic speaker Rex is able to utilize that metaphor and take it to the next level.
