Ruby Rose

In just 12 months, Ruby Rose went from model and student to become the face of MTV Australia and an in-demand TV talent. Ruby's striking appearance and unique style had her standing out from the crowd. However, it was her quirky and eclectic personality that made MTV execs decide Ruby was definitely worth remembering.

Ruby reported from Cypress, for the Winter Olympics 2010. She also captured the colour and eclectic nature of Vancouver 2010, from crazy fans and live sites to the hottest parties in town.

Ruby has also ruled the red carpet coverage for the Australian MTV awards, presented FOXTEL's 2009 Mardi Gras broadcast, been a guest panelist on Australia's Next Top Model and represented Gen Y on Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation on Channel Ten.

Rose has also just signed on with FOXTEL's flagship entertainment Channel FOX8 to host the new series The Ultimate School Musical: Fame. She is also currently the music and entertainment correspondent for Ten's The 7PM Project.

In 2009, Ruby won the ASTRA Award for Most Popular Female Personality and was nominated for Best TV Presenter at Dolly magazine's Teen Choice Awards and Cosmopolitan's Fun Fearless Female Awards.

Ruby is actively involved in charity work as an ambassador for fashion targets breast cancer and is heading off on a trip to Kenya on behalf of Global Vision early in 2009.

To have accomplished so much and made such an impact in her first year is testament to her diverse talents and a big future in entertainment.
